Saturdays Are For Shopping

Saturday's Are For Shopping (2 of 6)

Guess Coat, French Connection Sweater, LOFT Shirt and Sunglasses, Zara Pants, Naturalizer Boots, Orli Purse, Charles-Hubert Watch, Gifted Elm City Jewelers Locket, Banana Republic Earrings

This past Saturday some of my lady friends and I headed up to Kittery, Maine for a day of outlet shopping.  My goal was to be warm, comfortable, and fashionable while scoring some major deals.  Multiple layers kept me warm, low heeled ankle boots and a hands free purse kept me comfortable, and mixing patterns and textures had me feeling fashionable.  Check, check, and check!  All the layers did make trips to the dressing room a bit difficult, but it was so worth it!

A Little Bit of Leather

Guess Coat, Zara Tunic, Saks Off Fifth Jeans, Lord & Taylor Booties, Marshall’s Scarf, Vintage Bangle, Hell’s Kitchen Flea Market Cross Bracelet, H&M Earrings

Had this gray tunic not had leather pockets, I wouldn’t have given it a second glance.  But the pockets on this top are what makes it so special, and were the main reason why I had to have it.  To spruce up this otherwise neutral tunic, I added my electric blue jeans and a colorful silk scarf.  A military inspired coat is always in style, and helps by adding some structure to whatever you’re wearing.  In my opinion, a little bit of leather, makes any outfit better.
